HIAG Solar was founded jointly by HIAG and aventron, a company specialising in electricity production from renewable resources. The joint venture aims to use the rooftops of HIAG properties to produce electricity in the most optimal way possible.

The details of the winning project by Buchner Bründler Architekten’s Basel office and Berchtold.Lenzin Landschaftsarchitekten are currently being worked out as part of a master plan.

The “Kessel House” designed by the Basel architectural firm Harry Gugger Studio in collaboration with Erne Holzbau will be a filigree hybrid-timber construction with 24 2.5 room apartments, small shops and common areas on the ground floor. Construction is planned to start in September 2022.

at CHF 62.4 million (fair value), a large portion of the divestment volume planned for 2022 was sold at a substantial profit during the reporting year.
