Solar offensive HIAG Solar AG
The properties in the HIAG portfolio offer enormous potential for the expansion of photovoltaic systems. The joint venture HIAG Solar AG was founded to systematically utilise this potential.
Partnership between aventron and HIAG
In 2021, HIAG and aventron1 founded the joint venture HIAG Solar AG. aventron holds a 51 per cent majority stake in the joint venture. The remaining 49 per cent of the company is owned by HIAG. While HIAG contributes in particular its roof surfaces and concludes purchase agreements with selected major tenants, aventron is responsible for the planning, construction and operation of the plants.
A major solar power producer of the future
HIAG Solar AG aims to become a major solar power producer in Switzerland in the medium term. According to the target set in 2021, an output of around 6 MWp is to be expanded by 2024. In 2023, HIAG Solar AG's systems produced around 4.4 GWh of green PV electricity. This corresponds to the annual consumption of around 1,200 Swiss households.
