With a solution customised to the tenant’s requirements, HIAG made it possible to build the new production and office building for an international specialist in aluminium packaging flexibly and without bureaucracy in Goldach, thus strengthening eastern Switzerland as a business location in the long term.

HIAG acquired the Amcor Flexibles Rorschach AG site with a surface area of approximately 64’000 m² in Goldach as part of a sale-and-lease-back transaction. HIAG was able to win over the subsidiary of the Australian packaging company Amcor Limited with a development agreement based on the specific requirements of the lease-back tenant Amcor. The eastern Swiss company specialising in aluminium packaging, which produces Nespresso capsules among other things, needed a new production hall for its dynamic growth. The transaction went hand in hand with the extension of the tenancy.
