HIAG Signs an Significant Rental Contract for Retail Space in Dietikon

On a total surface area of nearly 20'000 m², HIAG will provide modern retail and storage areas for its new tenant. The overall project includes a substitute building covering approx. 9'000 m² of usable area and the modernisation of an existing usable area of approx. 11'000 m². The contract was signed for a duration of 15 years. Redevelopment is scheduled to take place as soon as existing rental contracts run out and the building permit is granted. Since the future use complies with the zoning requirements, the granting of the permit is to be expected.
After the contract extension with Media Markt in the summer of 2017, yet another major tenant has thus made a long-term commitment to the retail site in Dietikon. “The renovation investments that will be initiated following the conclusion of this lease agreement will give the site a new, modern appearance”, said Ralf Küng, HIAG's Head of Portfolio Management. In terms of rental income and rental area, the new tenant will be the largest single tenant within HIAG's portfolio.
