HIAG completes its portfolio in the Lausanne region,Acquisition in Bussigny increases HIAG's development pipeline

Basel, 27 May 2020 – HIAG acquires three contiguous plots of land for a total of 22,319 m² held by the Edipresse Group SA. HIAG's new site, located in the municipality of Bussigny (VD), is in an industrial zone. Adjacent to the new storage and logistics building of the University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG) and the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois (CHUV), this site allows the development of a mixed craft/industry, storage/logistics and research and development project. The active search for anchor tenants has already begun.

The strategic position of these plots of land in the heart of the Lake Geneva region, in the immediate vicinity of the Bussigny railway station and motorway accesses ensures high attractiveness of the site on the market. The development of the Bussigny municipality, PPA Bussigny-Ouest (2,800 housing units under construction) and PPA Mochettaz reflect the strong growth prevailing in western Lausanne. This acquisition strengthens HIAG's positioning in French-speaking Switzerland and more particularly in the Lausanne region and also extends the Group's development pipeline.
