Corinne Wirsching has been working as an Office Manager in the Zurich office for over four years.


Describe your job at HIAG: What are you responsible for?

As Office Manager, I am mainly responsible for the smooth running of the office and for supporting the HIAG team in Zurich. My typical tasks include drafting correspondence, organising workshops and events, coordinating and planning meetings and appointments and preparing data.

What do you particularly like about your work at HIAG?
I particularly like the variety in my job. I am often the first point of contact at the reception desk in the Zurich office and therefore regularly the point of contact for matters from the various business areas and for questions of all kinds. I enjoy having a lot of contact with my colleagues and external service providers and I really like this cross-divisional approach.

What are the biggest challenges in your day-to-day work?
In my day-to-day work, the biggest challenge is recognising needs early on and setting clear priorities in order to provide the best possible support for the team. This means listening carefully, identifying the most important tasks and making sure that nothing important is overlooked. It is important to remain flexible and be able to adapt quickly to new requirements.
