HIAG is active in the areas of property development, portfolio and asset management as well as transactions. But who are the people behind HIAG? With the series "3 questions to", a HIAG employee is introduced every month.

Nicolas Charlier works as a Site Manager for Village 48 in Yverdon-les-Bains and Les Cadolles in Neuchâtel.

Describe your job at HIAG: what are you responsible for?
I'm in charge of operational and technical management, and my tasks include maintenance, follow-up with tenants, cleanliness and enhancing the value of the buildings. I also monitor the technical aspects of the installations, supervise work and manage security. I also work internally with the management team to respond to requests from tenants and visitors, and help to organise events such as open days and Christmas markets.

What do you like most about your work at HIAG?
I enjoy the diversity and versatility of my work, as well as the many daily contacts. Every day brings stimulating challenges, allowing me to learn, solve problems and work with different partners. Human contact with tenants and service providers enriches my experience and facilitates exchanges by creating a bond of trust. Working as part of a team to enhance and revitalise the sites is a source of motivation that gives me a real sense of achievement.

What are the biggest challenges in your day-to-day work?
My job requires me to be rigorously organised in order to manage a large number of requests simultaneously, while taking account of priorities and unforeseen circumstances. The diversity of tasks, between technical interventions, tenant management and administrative follow-up, is a major challenge. Guaranteeing tenant satisfaction while respecting budgetary and safety constraints requires diplomacy and adaptability. These challenges make my job demanding, but also particularly rewarding and motivating.
