A significant milestone was recently celebrated in the context of the chassis construction project in Oberwinterthur: the traditional topping-out ceremony brought together around 80 guests, including planners, entrepreneurs, tradespeople and representatives of HIAG.

The topping-out ceremony provided an opportunity to celebrate the collaboration and the progress of the project. After a welcome address by Beat Waser, the responsible construction manager from the general contractor WWP, and a short speech by the responsible architect Dani Burkard about the construction, Richard Mader, head of the building construction department at Marti Zurich, addressed those in attendance. His speech paid particular tribute to the work of the tradespeople and set a celebratory tone with a traditional verse and the symbolic baptism of the landing gear. Carsten Redlich, representing the client HIAG, concluded the official part with thanks and recognition for the work of all involved. A joint dinner with dishes from the smoker rounded off the event and provided an opportunity for exchange and networking in a relaxed atmosphere.

The construction project is progressing according to plan. The next tasks include progress in the technical installations, sealing work on the roof and traffic areas, the interior construction of the reception and the bathroom units, as well as the completion of the outdoor facilities.

In reaching this milestone, HIAG would like to thank all those involved and looks forward to the next project phases with confidence.
